The Garden
John and Mary’s garden was big and full of life. In one corner, an orchard had mangoes, guavas, oranges, and pawpaws, which birds also loved. Another corner had a vegetable patch with cabbages, carrots, tomatoes, beans, and potatoes, keeping the family healthy. Near the house, colorful flowers bloomed, though no blue ones yet. John helped weed the flower beds, while Mary decorated the kitchen with fresh flowers.
